<p>This snap mode lets you select a point on an imaginary line parallel to a line segment.
|

</p>

|
<ol><li>Make sure snap mode is turned on</li>
|
|
<li>Choose element to be inserted into the FreeCAD-document</li></ol>
|
|
<p>On Linux
|
|
</p>
|
|
<ol><li>Move cursor over the desired object to activate its parallel snap</li>
|
|
<li>Move cursor until below on the right side of the cursor the symbol of the snap mode will appear</li>
|
|
<li>Click to place your element parallel to selected object</li></ol>

<p>On WIndows
|
|
</p>
|
|
<ol><li>Press <span style="background: #DDDDDD; border: 1px solid #888888; padding: 0px 5px 1px 5px;">CTRL</span> and move cursor over the desired object to activate its parallel snap</li>
