<p>FreeCAD, jak wiele nowoczesnych programów projektowych jak <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revit" class="extiw" title="wikipedia:Revit">Revit</a>, bazuje na koncepcji <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsztat">Warsztatu (Workbench)</a>. Warsztat może być rozumiany jako zbiór narzędzi specjalnie zgrupowanych do określonego zadania. W tradycyjnym warsztacie meblowym, możesz mieć stół dla osoby pracującej w drewnie, inny dla kogoś pracującego z elementami metalowymi i może trzeci dla gościa, który składa to wszystko do kupy.

</p><p>Ta sama koncepcja działa we FreeCADzie. Narzędzia pogrupowane są w warsztaty zależnie od odpowiadających im zadań.

<p>Kiedy przełączasz się z jednego warsztatu do innego, zmianie ulega zestaw narzędzi dostępnych w interfejsie. Paski narzędzi, poleceń i ewentualnie inne części interfejsu przełączają się do nowego warsztatu, ale zawartość twojej sceny nie ulega zmianie. Możesz np. zacząć rysować szkice 2D w warsztacie Draft, potem pracując z nimi w warsztacie.

<p>Note that sometimes a Workbench is referred to as a <i>Module</i>. However, Workbenches and Modules are different entities. A Module is any extension of FreeCAD, while a Workbench is a special GUI configuration that groups some toolbars and menus. Usually every Module contains its own Workbench, hence the cross-use of the name.

<h2><span class="mw-headline" id="External_workbenches">External workbenches</span></h2>
|
|
<p>FreeCAD workbenches are easy to program in <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="http://www.python.org">Python</a>, there are therefore many people developing additional workbenches outside of the FreeCAD codebase. The <a href="External_workbenches.html" title="External workbenches">External workbenches</a> page has some information and tutorials about some of them, and the <a rel="nofollow" class="external text" href="https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-addons">FreeCAD Addons</a> project aims at gathering them and making them easily installable from within FreeCAD.
