b972a0940d Added online expansion and compilation of files 
being edited in DrRacket (via places)

Added an API to let tools have access to that
  information (and compute more stuff)

Used that to make an online version of Check Syntax
  which led to a separately callable Check Syntax API.

fb25dc9a42 adjusted drracket test suites so that it is (more) careful to keep all manipulation of GUI objects (text% objects seem to have been the important one) on the drracket eventspace main thread in an effort to make the test suites more stable. 2010-12-29 20:31:40 -06:00

bcab28e5d2 Misc tests/drracket improvements. 
Removed "info.rkt", since all entries were unused; switched ".ss" to
".rkt" in both real code and tested code (except for the teachpack
tests); modernized some tests to use symbolic requires (which would also
make it easier to deal with).
