The Racket repository
![]() XREPL already doesn't declare dependencies on its optional features such as launching DrRacket or opening the docs. The consensus seems to be that it's best not to declare these and to gracefully degrade if they're missing. For XREPL, the error message could be better, but it currently lets the user keep going when the `dynamic-require` fails. |

Racket is distributed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). This means that you can link Racket into proprietary applications, provided you follow the rules stated in the LGPL. You can also modify Racket; if you distribute a modified version, you must distribute it under the terms of the LGPL, which in particular means that you must release the source code for the modified software.
